Publishing Services
Become a published, independent author on Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble, and more. I can help you with turning your manuscript into a paperback or hardback, or e-book, with 40-90 days at minimal cost. if you want to know how it's done, sign up for one of my workshops. To get you started, we have to keep several things in mind.

Self-publishing is not necessarily easier than traditional publishing. Instead of someone else doing all the editing, formatting, and marketing, it will be on you.

Marketing is essential if you want to generate sales. The larger companies will provide you with various plans to get you started - but none guarantee you will make sell thousands of books. At the end of the day, the legwork is on you.

You do need a budget. The budget for my services is minimal. if you plan on standing up a website and using the various marketing tools, you will need a budget. If you plan on attending books shows or conference, this also takes money. And of course, you will need a budget to cover professional editing and book cover design.

There is nothing mysterious about self-publishing, if you are willing to take a dip your feet into the water. My Demystifying Self-publishing workshop provides an overview of the following six stages to self-publishing:

In the overview I demystify these stages, or steps. The cost for this overview, which is usually about an hour to an hour in a half.

Hands on (Publishing with Amazon KDP)
The hands-on workshops is a deep-dive inti the steps mentioned above, with a focus toward publishing on Amazon-KDP. To take full advantage of this workshop, participants should be well-versed in MS Word as well as a graphics package. Additionally, a draft manuscript is highly suggested as the workshop includes setting up your KDP account and uploading your draft to the publishing site.
